Connecting Cultures
Bridging the gap between America and Japan.
Cultural Exchange
Our primary mission is to foster genuine cultural exchange between American and Japanese exchange students and host families. We believe that sharing experiences and traditions enriches both hosts and guests, creating lasting bonds that transcend geographical boundaries. Through our homestay program, participants gain an authentic insight into Japanese culture while sharing their own backgrounds as well.
Personal Growth
We aim to provide an environment that promotes personal growth and understanding. Our homestay program encourages participants to step outside their comfort zones, embrace new perspectives, and develop meaningful relationships. Thus, the program not only provides a literal journey to a foreign land, but a journey of self-discovery that not only enhances personal skills but also cultivates global citizenship.
Community Building
At Bridge to Asia, we prioritize community building by connecting diverse individuals and families. Our program creates a welcoming environment that fosters not only friendships but also a sense of belonging. By participating, you also contribute to a larger community that values respect, inclusion, and shared experiences. Read more to learn how you can participate in this decades-long tradition.
